Poe Dameron's blue X-wing[9] was a T-70 X-wing starfighter used by Commander Poe Dameron while his X-wing Black One was being repaired.[4]
History[]
Rescue of Lor San Tekka[]
During the Mission to Cato Neimoidia, Black One was hijacked by Commander Malarus, who attempted to use the ship to kill Poe Dameron in a dogfight, showing no remorse for civilian casualties. BB-8, Dameron's astromech droid, regained control of the ship and caused it to crash.[10] While Black One was being repaired, Dameron started using this X-wing during the Rescue of Lor San Tekka. Thanks to the efforts of Black Squadron, Tekka was rescued.[4]
Meeting Kazuda Xiono[]
When New Republic pilot Kazuda Xiono was about to be shot down by Major Elrik Vonreg in his TIE/ba interceptor, Dameron arrived in the X-wing to assist him by damaging the ship, forcing Vonreg to retreat.[5]
Destruction[]
After his adventure with Xiono,[8] Dameron traveled to the planet Jakku to collect the map to Luke Skywalker, only for the First Order to attack the village. Dameron and BB-8 attempted to escape in the X-wing, but were prevented by stormtroopers who disabled the ship. Upon Dameron's capture, the ship was destroyed by blaster fire.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
The X-wing first appeared unidentified in the 2015 film, Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens.[2] The ship would later be identified in the 2016 video game, LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens.[9]
