A poet was someone who wrote poetry. Holshef was a human male poet and artist who lived on Lothal. He wrote poems and painted pictures to express his dissatisfaction with the effect that the policies of the Galactic Empire had on the planet, but this only resulted in an arrest warrant, forcing him into hiding.[3] Maz Kanata once referred to the Master Codebreaker as a "poet with a blaster".[4]
