Biography[]
- "Take over. We've got a bad transmitter. I'll see what I can do."
- ―Pol Treidum to his partner

Treidum pages TK-421.
After the Alliance to Restore the Republic's successful mission on Ralltiir, Treidum was constantly paranoid of Rebel spies infiltrating the Death Star.[2]
In 0 BBY he was stationed in Docking Control Room 327 when the Millennium Falcon was drawn into Docking Bay 327 by a tractor beam. While a scanning crew went on board, Treidum noticed that stormtroopers TK-421 and TK-422 were not at their posts outside the Millennium Falcon. After trying unsuccessfully to hail TK-421 through the comm system, Treidum looked out the observation port to see a disguised Luke Skywalker walk down the Falcon's loading ramp and bump a fist at his helmet. Taking this to mean there was a faulty transmitter, Treidum opened the door to go check on the problem, only to be knocked unconscious by Chewbacca's fist, propelling him back into the room,[2] resulting in his death.[1] His partner was then shot by Han Solo.[2]
Treidum's body was later viewed through a security camera in the office by Death Star librarian Atour Riten.[1]
Personality and traits[]
Pol Treidum sported the prominent sideburns that were popular among the Imperial officer class at the time.[3] Other serving Imperial officers who wore their hair in this fashion, many of whom were also assigned to the Death Star, included Cassio Tagge, Conan Motti, Moradmin Bast and Nahdonnis Praji.
