By 519 BBY,[1] the planet Polis Massa[2] was destroyed in a cataclysm. In 519 BBY the Archaeological Research Council of Kallidah established a base on one of the largest remnants of the planet in order to excavate throughout the asteroid belt to study the reasons behind the planet's destruction.[4]

Behind the scenes[]

The Star Wars Book stated that Ordo Eris was built on a piece of Polis Massa;[2] however, the 2025 "Star Systems of the Galaxy" appendix later overrode this and moved it to the Chorlian sector on the other side of the galaxy.[5]
