Poma-drupe fruit was a type of inedible fruit. The fruit's seeds could be distilled into bubbling poma, a fluid used in deprivation chambers. When used alongside throbbing pulse-music in the chamber, it could relax an individual's muscles, loosen their mind, and cause hallucinations.[1]
By 5 ABY,[2] the capital city of the planet Nakadia, Quarrow, had a poma-club establishment that used poma-drupe fruit seeds for their bubbling poma. While on Nakadia[1] that year,[2] several New Republic operatives visited Quarrow and briefly thought about the world's poma-club and its usage of the fruit, considering how the city's atmosphere would affect their upcoming mission.[1]
