"Porgs!" is the twelfth episode of the animated micro-series Star Wars Forces of Destiny' second season. It was released on May 4, 2018.

Official description[]

Chewie is exasperated when a pair of porgs tears blue wiring out of the Falcon. Further investigation with help from R2-D2 reveals that the porgs are looking for hard-to-find blue moss for their nest—if only Chewie can get it for them.

Plot summary[]

On Ahch-To's Temple Island, Chewbacca and R2-D2 are servicing the Millennium Falcon. Something is causing the engines not to run properly. The two then discover two porgs running away with blue wiring and give chase. Chewbacca also brings his bowcaster. The two follow the porgs to a nest where they find a pair of porg hatchlings. They quickly discover that the thieves were the chicks' parents.

Chewbacca tries to barter the blue wiring for a blanket but the porg parents don't want it. The porgs then point to a high tree above the rocks with blue moss growing on its leaves. The porgs are unable to reach it due to a strong wind. Taking pity on the porgs, R2-D2 convinces Chewbacca to climb up to the tree and harvest the blue moss. Braving the wind, Chewbacca reaches the tree and brings back enough for the porg chicks. The porg parents are grateful and return the blue wiring to Chewbacca. They also rub heads with Chewbacca in gratitude.
