The Poseidenna system was a star system located in Mon Calamari Space, within the Slice portion of the Outer Rim Territories. It lay at the terminus of a hyperlane branching off from the Minntooine system, where the Giblim Route and Minntooine Spur converged.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
The Poseidenna system was created for The Essential Atlas, a 2009 reference book co-authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed the system in grid square U-7.[2] In keeping with Mon Calamari Space's oceanic theme,[3] the Poseidenna system derives its name from[2] Poseidon, the god of the sea in Greek mythology.[4]
