A Posting Agency acted as an intermediary that assisted in the posting of bounties, from corporations and private individuals with the Galactic Empire. It allowed private individuals to avoid dealing with Imperial bureaucratic procedure for a modest fee, and allowed large corporations to save on bounty registration fees. Posting agencies also dealt directly with bounty hunters, and passed on information about targets.
