- "No one deserved to be sent to Praktin or Blacktar Cyst."
- ―Philap Bygar, to Micha Evon and his colleagues
Praktin was a location that the Rebel Alliance's 61st Mobile Infantry was sent to during the Galactic Civil War. The Alliance General Philap Bygar acknowledged the deployment[1] in 3 ABY[2] when meeting the 61st's captain, Micha Evon, the former Imperial governor Everi Chalis, and their escort at a rebel base on the planet Hoth. The general told them that he believed that no one deserved to be sent to Praktin or Blacktar Cyst, a terrestrial astronomical object where the 61st had also been sent before.[1]
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
Praktin was mentioned in the 2015 novel Battlefront: Twilight Company, written by Alexander Freed.[1]
