Prefects were officials in the Galactic Empire. Kosh, an Imperial Army officer from Tatooine, eventually became a prefect.[1] Captain Vanis Tigo, commanding officer of the Ferrix garrison, was promoted to prefect[3] after requesting the title.[2]
