The prime Imperial channel was a HoloNet channel affiliated with the Empire. After the former Sith known as the Ronin destroyed the Jedi lord Hanrai's Imperial Dreadnought, the Reverent, near the Outer Rim planet Dekien, the Empire's Crown Prince issued a proclamation through the prime Imperial channel to denounce what he considered to be an act of Sith aggression. Moments later, the Crown Prince's proclamation was reported on another HoloNet channel. While one of the Ronin's allies, the bounty hunter Chie, was combing through HoloNet channels, she heard a report about the Crown Prince's proclamation on the prime Imperial channel and many other pronouncements regarding the event.[1]
