"Prophets of the Dark Side: Villains for the Star Wars: New Republic Campaign, Part One" was a source article for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game appearing in Polyhedron 103. It was written by authors Bill Slavicsek and Michele Carter. The article explored the backstories of certain Prophets of the Dark Side such as Kadann, Jedgar, and Merili.

Like all supplements printed in Polyhedron prior to 2002, the article was considered ambiguously canon, but some aspects of it have since become canon within Star Wars Legends after being referenced in other official works.
