Protobranch was an agriworld[1] and the homeworld of the Bivall species,[2] including the scientist Sionver Boll, who served the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars.[3]
Behind the scenes[]
In the current Star Wars canon, Protobranch was first mentioned in the reference book Ultimate Star Wars, which was released in 2015.[3] It first appeared in a flashback sequence in the audio drama Dooku: Jedi Lost, written by Cavan Scott and published in 2019.[1] Protobranch was first mentioned in the Star Wars Legends short story "Hondo Ohnaka's Not-So-Big Score," which was written by Jason Fry and published in Star Wars Insider 144, which was released in 2013.[4]
