"It's been my experiance—such as it is—that on some level, one usually knows the difference between right and wrong. Sometimes you pretend to yourself that you don't, so you can choose to eat that cream-fat puff-pie you ought to skip, but deep down, you know you shouldn't."
―Uli[src]

Puff-pie was a rich dessert made with fattening cream.[1] In 20 BBY,[2] the surgeon Uli compared choosing between right and wrong to choosing whether or not to eat a cream-fat puff-pie that ought to be skipped. His friend, the Jedi Padawan Barriss Offee, noted that gorging on dessert could not be fairly compared to evildoing on a galactic scale. Uli responded that it perhaps depended on the dessert in question.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

Puff-pie was mentioned in MedStar II: Jedi Healer, a novel written by Michael Reaves and Steve Perry as the second book in the MedStar Duology.[1]
