Pune Zignat was a male Aqualish and a chief weapons technician who helped Lok Durd[1] as aide[2] to test his new defoliator missiles on Maridun. During the Defense of Maridun, he relayed the firing orders to the B1-series battle droids operating the Defoliator. He managed to survive the battle, but was captured along with Durd.[1]

Pune Zignat also wore a pair of electronic goggles,[1] similar to Saak'ak communications officer Tey How's goggles.[3]
