The Qel-Droma family was a Force-sensitive Human bloodline from Alderaan that had produced a number of powerful Jedi warriors in the era of the Old Sith Wars. Ulic and Cay Qel-Droma, sons of Jedi Master Lien-Tsai Qel-Droma[2], were raised on Alderaan alongside their cousin, Duron Qel-Droma.[5] All three Alderaanians would eventually became Jedi Knights, though Ulic Qel-Droma would fall to the dark side of the force and became a Dark Lord of the Sith.[1] Sedriss QL, born Qaga Lok, was Military Executor to the reborn Palpatine and a distant descendant of Ulic Qel-Droma.[6]

The Alderaanian frigate Qel-Droma shares a name with the Qel-Droma family, though no connection between the two has been established.[7]
