An AG-2G quad laser cannon
A quad laser cannon,[1] or quad laser, was a laser weapon consisting of four linked laser cannons which fired alternately in pairs[2] or individually in rapid succession.[3] Commonly used on small- to medium-sized starships, they were both more powerful than many other ship-mounted weapons, and more affordable than turbolasers.[2] They were typically operated from inside a turret.[1] The Millennium Falcon, a modified YT-1300 light freighter owned by Han Solo, had two AG-2G quad laser cannons: one on the top of the ship, the other below.[1]
