The Quasar Fire I-class Cruiser-Carrier was a model of Quasar Fire-class cruiser-carrier used by the Imperial Navy during the Imperial Era. At one point, one such cruiser-carrier fired its offensive weapons in space, while carrying various TIE line starships, including TIE/ln space superiority starfighters.[1]

The 340-meter-long[2] Quasar Fire I was wedge shaped, with four hangar bays protruding from its rear ventral hull. At the front of the carrier was its bridge, which was flanked by turbolasers on its port and starboard sides. The ship was propelled by sublight engines.[1] It was succeeded by the Quasar Fire II-class Cruiser-Carrier.[3]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

The Quasar Fire I-class Cruiser-Carrier was mentioned on a card of the same name in the 2017 Imperial Light Carrier Expansion Pack by Fantasy Flight Games, for the miniatures game Star Wars: Armada.[1]
