Queen Yram's Needle was a narrow white obelisk built in the capital city of Theed on the planet Naboo. It bore the name of Queen Yram, a member of the Royal House of Naboo.[1] Between 67 BBY and 65 BBY, the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Plagueis, in his public guise as businessman Hego Damask, took a walk through Theed with the Naboo youth Palpatine. Their tour included a walk along the Solleu River in the direction of Queen Yram's Needle and the Concert Hall before crossing a footbridge towards the Theed Royal Palace.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
Queen Yram's Needle was first mentioned and pictured in Inside the Worlds of Star Wars: Episode I, a 2000 reference book by Kristin Lund.[1] It first appeared in the 2012 novel Darth Plagueis by James Luceno.[2]
