The Quor'sav[3] were a sentient species[1] that moved about on at least two long, stilt-like legs. One such being was present in Mos Eisley on the planet Tatooine[2] in 0 BBY[4] on the same day Luke Skywalker sold his landspeeder[2] to a Vuvrian named Wioslea.[5] At some point prior to or during 3 ABY,[6] the Trandoshan bounty hunter Bossk'wassak'Cradossk assisted a Quor'sav narcotics agent on the astronomical object Uaua. When Bossk later confronted his sister Doshanalawook on the gunship Liswarr, he noted that her projector console showed a detailed personal history of him, including a mention of the Quor'sav agent.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
The Quor'sav first appeared in the 1977 film Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope.[2] The species was first canonically identified in the 2019 Star Wars By the Numbers video "Every Alien Species in the Original Trilogy".[3] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the Quor'sav were a sentient species with avian and monotreme characteristics first identified in the Premiere Limited base set of the Star Wars Customizable Card Game, which was released in December 1995. The cards also identified the owner of the legs seen in A New Hope as Kal'Falnl C'ndros.[7]

- ↑ Star Wars: Galactic Atlas dates the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope to 0 BBY and 0 ABY. As the Galactic Atlas also establishes that "BBY" and "ABY" stand for "Before the Battle of Yavin" and "After the Battle of Yavin" respectively, and the battle appears in the film, it can be concluded that the scene in which the Quor'sav appears occurs in 0 BBY because it happens prior to the battle.

- ↑ Star Wars: Galactic Atlas dates the events of Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back to 3 ABY. As the From a Certain Point of View: The Empire Strikes Back short story "Tooth and Claw" is set concurrently to the film, it must also take place in that year.
