R2-F1P was an R2 series astromech droid[1] with white, silver, yellow, and orange plating and a black sensor.[2] Like all R2 astromech droids, it stood 0.96 meters tall and was manufactured by Industrial Automaton.[1] Its status indicator could be red or blue in color when on.[3]
In 13 BBY,[4] R2-F1P was present in Coronet Spaceport in Coronet City on the planet Corellia. Following a security alert being sounded in the spaceport after a breach of the customs gates, the droid rolled past a human family being violently separated by Imperial stormtroopers.[3]
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
R2-F1P was created for the 2018 Anthology film, Solo: A Star Wars Story.[3] The droid was first revealed prior to the film's release as part of a Star Wars: Droid Factory toy set produced by Hasbro Inc. earlier in 2018.[5]
