R2-H16 was an R2-series astromech droid that was optimized to function in cold weather. The droid's distinctive red-and-green "hat" was an external radiant heating array. It also included a Burtt acoustic signaller.
Behind the scenes[]
This holiday-themed droid was a toy made available exclusively at Disney Parks in 2016. It was later re-released in 2021 in a boxed set with three other holiday droids.
