R4-X2 was a green R4 astromech droid operating during the First Order-Resistance War. It served on board the main cruiser of the Resistance.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
R4-X2 was created for the sequel trilogy film Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi,[2] which was released on December 15, 2017.[3] The droid was revealed beforehand in a Star Wars: Droid Factory two-pack of figures tied into the film and released by Disney at Star Wars Celebration Orlando in April, 2017.[1]
