Racer Rush is a single-player online racing game found on StarWars.com. The game lets the player control a podracer and race in 3 different racetracks set on the planets of Hoth (Ceyan Range Raceway), Tatooine (Mos Espa Raceway), and Naboo (Lianorm Raceway).

Racer Rush was posted on StarWars.com as a supplement to the re-release of Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace in 3D. The game features podracer characters from the film.

Gameplay[edit | edit source]

Racer Rush is a top-down racing game where the player races against AI opponents, navigates intricate racetracks, and collects repair/speed boost pick-ups to gain the upper hand against his competitors.

The podracers are customizable before each race: both their appearance and performance can be set to the users' desired preferences.

The vehicles are destructible. The enemies can be rammed to make them crash. Racetracks have some areas which slow the pod down, or (e.g. pits) where it can be destroyed. Some NPCs re-spawn after their crash, while others are permanantly eliminated from the race.

Each racetrack has 4 race modes: a standard race with 4 adversaries lasting 2 laps, the reverse version of the track, a one-on-one challenge with the track's champion, and a 5-lap championship.
