A fleet of the Imperial Navy was led by Commodore Rae Sloane following the destruction of the planet Alderaan. During this time, the fleet was tasked by the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vader, with hunting down Alderaanian refugees who survived their homeworld's destruction. This led the fleet to participate in the battle at Fostar Haven.[1]

Description[]

The fleet consisted of the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer Vigilance, five Quasar Fire-class cruiser-carriers, nine Arquitens-class command cruisers, four Raider-class corvettes, and at least five Imperial Gozanti-class cruisers.[1]

Vigilance blockades the convoy

Following the destruction of Alderaan, Commodore Sloane was tasked by the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vader with hunting down the purge's survivors. She soon eceived intelligence reports that a convoy of Alderaanian refugees was heading to the trading outpost at Fostar Haven. As a result, she deployed several of her sub-capital ships alongside Helix Squadron as a first wave. After the defection of Helix Squadron's leader, Captain Lindon Javes, Sloane's flagship, the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Vigilance, arrived with reinforcements but was not able to stop Rebel Alliance reinforcements helping the convoy escape. The fleet lost two Arquitens-class cruisers, a Quasar Fire-class carrier, and a Raider-class corvette in addition to various TIE fighter series starfighters.[1]
