The Rage was an Imperial Navy Lancer-class frigate that was stationed in 0 ABY alongside two IPV-1 System Patrol Craft, Green/Aura and Green/Besh, at the Galactic Empire's Bavos-II military space platform Station 1B6/Green, on the edge of the Core Worlds' Ringali Nebula. The Rage had 20 Quad laser cannons, and, as a Lancer-class frigate, was manufactured by Kuat Drive Yards. It measured 250 meters long.
Behind the scenes
The Rage was first mentioned in 1998's The Far Orbit Project, by Timothy S. O'Brien. The book was a supplement to West End Games's Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game, and had the same theme of the previous publication Pirates & Privateers as it followed the privateering EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate Far Orbit. Players can attack Station 1B6/Green with the Far Orbit as a part of a Scenerio Hook. If they do, the Rage will most likely defend the station.
