"Here's your chance to beat up some helpless opponents. It's not that much of a contest."
Commander Wex Dafid briefs recruits before recreating Dev's mission[src]

The raid in the Senex system occurred early in the Galactic Civil War. During a training mission, Rebel pilot Dev accidentally entered in an Imperial training ground in the Senex system. Mistaking Imperial starship for exercise targets, he wiped them out before he understood he was in Imperial space.[3]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

The battle first appeared in the 1993 video game Star Wars: X-Wing as the first X-wing historical mission: "Dev's Sidestep".
