During the Imperial Era, the rebellion sent Captain Cassian Andor and the KX-series security droid K-2SO on a mission to raid an Imperial freighter in the F'tzner system.[2]
Prelude[]
Sent on a mission on the planet Wecacoe to extract Imperial security protocols, Captain Cassian Andor and the twins Kertas and Rismor were stopped by security droid K-2SO. But the group reprogrammed K-2SO and the droid helped them escape.[1]
The raid[]
In the F'tzner system, Cassian Andor and K-2SO conducting a raid on an Imperial freighter. Knocked out Stormtroopers lied around as Cassian released poisonous gas into the area in order to make the raid look like it was done by smugglers. Cassian told K2 that they had to leave as soon as possible because they have to rendezvous with a Rebel attack squad. He also stressed that Rebel Army needed these things but when he went to go find what they were, he was surprised to find three Wookiee prisoners there. Realizing it would be unsafe to take the Wookiees on the upcoming raid with them, Cassian and K2 decided to leave them off on the green moon, Charissia.[2]
Aftermath[]
Cassian Andor and K-2SO landed their U-wing on the moon and K2 tried to convince Cassian to let him go on the raid instead. But Cassian refused and told K-2SO to babysit the Wookiees while he went on the raid. Cassian promised to be back by sunrise, leaving K-2SO to watch over the Wookiees.[2]
