Sometime before the Battle of Hoth during the Galactic Civil War, Darth Vader's personal contingent of Imperial Star Destroyers, known as Death Squadron, raided the Ulkantha asteroids to break up smuggling activity there. In the process, they uncovered evidence of a smuggling ring made up of members of the Sakiyan species, with its headquarters in Syvris shadowport near Hutt Space.[1]
