The Ramesh were a Hutt kajidic active in Hutt Space. The kajidic was a patron of the Delphidian privateer Sidon Ithano, who also held patronages from the Desilijic, Besadii, Gnuda, and Shell kajidics.[1]

Ithano carried a letter of marque bearing the name of the Ramesh and his other patrons. It granted him permission to conduct raids in his CSS-1 Corellian Star Shuttle, the Meson Martinet, along the secular hyperlanes of Hutt Space—including Ootmian Pabol, the Pabol Hutta, and the Shag Pabol—and to deliver seized cargoes to his patrons.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

In the new Star Wars canon, the Ramesh kajidic was first mentioned on a supplemental item included in the deluxe edition of the 2018 reference book Star Wars: Smuggler's Guide, which was written by Daniel Wallace.[1] The kajidic originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in the 1997 Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game supplement The Black Sands of Socorro, which was written by Patricia A. Jackson and published by West End Games.[2]
