Rancid Ridge was a location on the desert planet Lok. After the Battle of Yavin, a pirate of the Lok Revenants was eaten by a kimogila near Rancid Ridge.[1]

Rancid Ridge was mentioned in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[2] Rancid Ridge was mentioned by Jinkins during "Nym's Theme Park,"[1] a questline introduced with the "Publish 3" on October 8, 2003.[3] With the release of the "Game Update 16," on March 23, 2010,[4] Nym's Theme Park was revamped and Rancid Ridge was removed from Jinkins' dialogues.[5]
