This raspy-voiced woman was a female member of the One Sith by the year 40 ABY, based in the Valley of the Dark Lords on Korriban.[1]
Biography[]
When the Twi'lek Dark Jedi Alema Rar arrived in 40 ABY seeking guidance for Darth Caedus, the raspy-voiced woman was one of the three prominent participants in her questioning, along with the Togorian named Morto and the man Alema nicknamed White Eyes.
She played a more understated role in the encounter than either of the others: Morto was expected to fight and best Alema, while White Eyes took the lead in the interrogation, whereas the raspy woman spoke infrequently, and remained no more than one of the several cloaked figures. However, her interjections were always sharp and commanding, restraining Morto's fighting instincts, and adding an extra edge to White Eyes's questions.
Personality and traits[]
The Sith woman's role in the discussion suggested an abrasive, impatient personality, tempered by self-control. She also appeared to have drawn some amusement from Morto's pain.
Behind the scenes[]
In contrast with Morto and White Eyes, the female Sith is not given any name, nor does Alema identify her with a specific nickname. The term "raspy-voiced woman" is used to describe her several times in the novel.
