Raventhorn root was a type of root used in cooking by members of the Ewok species. During a particularly bleak winter on the forest moon of Endor, the Ewoks of the Bright Tree Village captured a kublag and made it into a stew, which they thickened with raventhorn root and ground-apple stock. Despite this, the stew was not nearly enough to fill the stomachs of the entire Bright Tree tribe.[1]

Raventhorn root appeared in "The Kroolok," a canon short story written by Cavan Scott and George Mann and published in the Life Day Treasury anthology in 2021.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, raventhorn plant was a plant found on Endor in the 2003 massively-multiplayer online roleplaying game Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided.[2]
