Plot summary[]
A local hero[]
On the snowy world of Andraven, the Jedi younglings Kai Brightstar, Nubs and Lys Solay race wellagrins with their friends Jam and Gumar Adraki. Brightstar thanks the locals for inviting them to the snow race while Solay says that she cannot wait to see what their friend Raxlo wanted to show them. Gumar says they are almost there.
The younglings arrive at the base where Raxlo is working on his harvester. Solay compliments Raxlo's new harvester. Raxlo explains that he has been using the harvester to mine the ice cave for tenga rocks, which he explains will provide power to the inhabitants of Andraven. He adds that people can sell them for a lot of credits. Gumar thanks Raxlo for using the revenue generated by the sale of the tenga rocks to improve their village while the younger Jam describes the Gozzo businessman as their hero. Raxlo expresses appreciation about being a local hero.
The Ganguls attack[]
Just then, they are interrupted by the arrival of the Ganguls' flagship Rathtar's Revenge. A glider shuttle exits the Rathtar's Revenge and lands nearby. Jam huddles beside Gumar for protection. The Jedi younglings lead Jam and Gumar to safety while Raxlo faces the pirates. Sellaccc Orryak, Jooro Jarrot and Toda-Joh exit the glider. Orryak picks up a tenga rock and tells Raxlo that they are aware of his mining work and harvester. Joh takes an interest in the tenga rock. Raxlo introduces himself and his harvester.
However, Orryak and her minions announce their intentions to take his harvester. The Jedi younglings confront the Ganguls and issue a warning. Orryak rebuffs their warning and sends Jarrot and Joh to deal with them. Joh and Jarrot charge at the younglings with their weapons while Gumar and Jam watch from behind a rock. While the younglings and Ganguls battle, Raxlo flees and jumps over a rock. Jarrot traps Nubs with an energy net. Gumar and Jam persuade Raxlo to help the younglings. Raxlo contacts RC-99 via comlink and tasks him and the security droids with dealing with the Ganguls.
RC-99 protests that he is not designed for combat but Raxlo insists. RC-99 and three hovering security droids charge out of the cockpit but are unable to stop Brightstar and Solay from being trapped under energy nets. RC-99 orders the security droids to surround Jarrot. However, Joh leaps on each of the security droids with his electric wrench and takes them out. RC-99 panics and flees, leaving Raxlo and the younglings to the tender mercies of the Ganguls. The Jedi younglings protest under their nets.
Into the cave[]
Raxlo also protests but Jarrot traps him under an energy net. The Ganguls laugh with glee and depart with the harvester into a cave. Once the Ganguls leave, the energy nets disappear. Gumar asks what they should do. Raxlo vows to be a hero and pursues the Ganguls and the stolen harvester into the cave despite the concerns of the younglings. Solay says that Raxlo needs help. Brightstar agrees and tells RC-99, Gumar and Jam to stay behind with the wellagrins. They promise to return.
Inside the cave, the harvester's mining wheel extracts tenga rocks from the cave. Joh mans the controls while the other Ganguls watch. A lone Raxlo runs towards the harvester and demands that the Ganguls leave his harvester. Under Orryak's orders, Toda-Joh attempts to crush Raxlo with the conveyer belt arm and mining wheel. Raxlo jumps out of the way and spots a release lever on top of the arm. He jumps on top of the thread of the arm, stunning both the Jedi younglings and the Ganguls. Despite Joh's attempts to shake him off, Raxlo manages to pull the release lever, causing the wheel to fall off. Raxlo gets his foot stuck but Solay pushes him out of the way before the mining wheel falls.
The mining wheel causes the ground to crack and the cave to begin collapsing. The Ganguls flee in the stolen harvester while the Jedi younglings and Raxlo shelter around the mining wheel. The Jedi are safe but Raxlo is covered in snow. Raxlo is devastated that the Ganguls have escaped with his harvester and tenga rocks. Raxlo thinks he is a failure but Nubs comforts him by speaking words of encouragement in Poobian. Translating, Brightstar says that Raxlo tried his best to help everyone, making him a hero.
Retaking the harvester[]
Solay says that he doesn't have to be the sole hero. Raxlo asks if their comlinks are working and says that they will need some help. The Ganguls approach the entrance in their harvester. Under Raxlo's instruction, Jam creates a snowball, which rolls down the hill and generates a snowball effect. The giant snowball crashes into the harvester, damaging its threads. The Ganguls attempt to free their harvester thread but are confronted by the Jedi younglings and Raxlo.
Orryak tasks the other pirates with fixing the harvester's threads while she deals with the younglings. At Raxlo's instruction, the Andraven children and RC-99 release the wellagrins on the Ganguls. RC-99 throws snowballs, which prompt the wellgrains to use their tails to release snowballs on the pirates. The Jedi join in the snowball fight. Gumar knocks out Jarrot's net launcher while the others overwhelm the Ganguls with snow. Raxlo deactivates the harvester, preventing the pirates from loading the tenga rocks onto their ships. Outnumbered, the Ganguls flee on their glider onto the Rathtar's Revenge, which flies away.
Later, Raxlo repairs the harvester. The Andraven locals and Jedi younglings thank Raxlo for being a hero. Raxlo tries to be modest but accepts being a hero. The people then engage in a snowball fight.
