Continuity[]
- "I thought you decided to stay."
"Well, the bounty hunter we ran into on Ord Mantell changed my mind." - ―Leia Organa and Han Solo
Near the beginning of The Empire Strikes Back, Han Solo mentions an encounter with a bounty hunter on Ord Mantell. The rebel mission in this audio drama, in which Solo and Organa are nearly captured by the bounty hunter Cypher Bos, is meant to fill in the details of that incident. Other Legends stories have Solo running into different bounty hunters on Ord Mantell during the same time period. "The Bounty Hunter of Ord Mantell," by Archie Goodwin and Al Williamson, had already been published in 1981 as a newspaper comic and featured the bounty hunter Skorr. In Scoundrel's Luck, a solo adventure by West End Games published in 1990, Han encounters Alfreda Goot instead. Ord Mantell's entry in the Databank later explained that Han Solo has a history of such encounters.[3]
