The Rebel hangar was an old hideout of the Rebel Alliance on the Outer Rim planet Dathomir. It had been built years before 1 ABY. The Wookiee Imarrra had once been on Dathomir and knew about this location.
1.5 ABY, the Wookiees Imarrra and Orrekazzapirr were captured on Kashyyyk and brought to the Imperial prison on Dathomir. A spacer sent by Queen Kylantha of Naboo managed to infiltrate the facility and helped them escape. Imarrra remembered the hangar and together with Orrekazzapirr found her way through the Dathomirian wilderness to the hangar. There they found an old ARC-170 starfighter they used to break through the Imperial blockade and escape from the planet.

The Rebel hangar appeared in the video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.
