Red Four was the callsign of the fourth member of Red Squadron.

History[]

Rebel Alliance[]

Sometime between 2 BBY and 4 ABY,[4] Micha served as Red Four during a battle, in which she crashed her X-wing into Darth Vader, sacrificing herself in an attempt to kill him. The other rebels assumed Vader was dead, but the Sith Lord had survived, when he emerged from the wreckage.[5]

John D. Branon served as Red Four during the Battle of Yavin and was killed in action.[1]

Sometime after the Battle of Yavin, the twi'lek pilot Bela Elar served as Red Four and participated in a battle in the Kiax Nebula.[6]

Resistance[]

Lieutenant Bastian served as Red Four during the Battle of Starkiller Base.[2]

  4. The events of "Red Four" take place sometime before the death of Darth Vader and after the formation of the Rebel Alliance, which Star Wars: On the Front Lines dates to two years prior to the Battle of Yavin. As Star Wars: Galactic Atlas places the Battle of Yavin and Vader's death in 0 BBY and 4 ABY, respectively, the events of the comic must have occurred between 2 BBY and 4 ABY.
