The red sigil was a universal marking used to designate medical facilities,[1] vehicles, equipment, and personnel.[2] The Galactic Empire used a slightly altered red sigil, placed on a distinctive white bicep band, it had a more rectangular outline and was used by the Imperial medics on Mimban.[3]
