Redjacket wasps were a species of insect that lived in nests. When TIE/ln space superiority starfighters descended on the Alliance to Restore the Republic Fleet after the Galactic Empire sprung its trap at the Battle of Endor, it reminded Rebel pilot Norra Wexley of angry redjacket wasps descending on someone who had thrown a rock at their nest.[1]
