Reena University, also known as the University of Reena, was a university located on the planet Reena. It was founded[2] in 197 BBY[1] and was one of the most prestigious universities in the Tapani sector. It attracted some of the best professors and researchers from the sector—including the rival Mrlsst Trade and Science Academy—by offering subsidized salaries far above anything else offered in the Inner Rim. Lord Galen Panos was once the Dean of this institution before he became High Lord of House Reena[2] around 27 BBY.[3]
The university had maintained a vast megacomputer archive that conlained information on the history of the Tapani sector. The archive was situated on its own island, and not only was the land protected with guard droids, but the surrounding waters were patrolled by the university security staff.[2]
