- "You shouldn't be here."
"You sound like Reff. He was scared."
"Reff sounds sensible." - ―Keeve Trennis and Bartol
Reff was an individual known to the human boy Bartol who lived in[1] a colony on[2] the Outer Rim[3] planet Sedri Minor during the High Republic Era.[1] In 232 BBY,[4] the two went through a field of[1] Vratixian barley[5] and Reff told Bartol that they should not be there, with Bartol noticing he was scared.[1]
Sometime later, after the Jedi Knight Keeve Trennis made[1] her[2] way through the field to find the missing[1] Jedi Knight[2] Ceret and came across a set of rotting barley, she heard a noise and questioned who was there. After Bartol appeared, the Jedi told[1] him[2] that he should not be there, to which Bartol informed Trennis that she sounded like Reff, and that he had been scared. In response, Trennis stated that Reff sounded sensible. Afterward, Bartol asked the Jedi Knight if she was scared and began to leave to find his missing friend—the Rodian Julus—and Ceret.[1]
