Republic architecture was a form of architecture that featured sweeping lines, and was prominent on Coruscant during the time of the Galactic Republic. During the Clone Wars, it was gradually replaced by brutalist architecture, a form of bold architecture pioneered by military architects such as Orson Callan Krennic. Brutalist architecture ultimately became the dominant style under the Republic's successor state, the Galactic Empire.[1]
