Ress Batten was a female human from the planet Alderaan who served as a Lieutenant aboard the Tantive IV. She accompanied Princess Leia Organa to Crait where they unknowingly came across a base being operated by Organa's father, Bail Organa. She was later brought into the rebellion by Captain Raymus Antilles shortly before the rebel fleet was evacuated from Paucris Major.[1]
