The Revengers,[1] with its members dubbed "heroes,"[2] were a group that operated during the Imperial Era. Led by Ankala Sahm and consisting of S'ira and Tanka, all three of whose homes had been destroyed by the Crimson Dawn criminal syndicate, their goal was to pursue operatives of the syndicate and attack them.[1]
On the planet Calior, the Revengers intervened when Chief Regional Auditor Cygnus Anton of the Galactic Empire, who had allied with Crimson Dawn, attempted to claim the southern water works as property of the Empire. Though the Revengers were fooled by Anton's presence being a hologram, coming under fire from an All Terrain Scout Transport that held the real Anton, they were assisted by servants of the Sith Lord Darth Vader. The Revengers came to view Vader as a hero, and the Sith Lord recruited them as part of his quest to destroy the syndicate.[1]
