Rick Famuyiwa (born June 18, 1973) is an American film director, producer and screenwriter best known for the 2015 film Dope. He directed two episodes of the live-action Star Wars television series The Mandalorian, created by director Jon Favreau.[2] It was reported and confirmed by Famuyiwa's representatives on August 21, 2019 that Famuyiwa will direct an undisclosed number of episodes for the second season of The Mandalorian.[3]
