- "Ridge, your comm's got static."
- ―A clone trooper, to Ridge, before the Battle of Teth
"Ridge" was the nickname of a clone trooper who served in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. In 22 BBY, Ridge was dispatched with the Republic unit Torrent Company to the planet Teth to recover the Huttlet Rotta, in order to gain access to hyperspace routes controlled by his father, Jabba Desilijic Tiure, for the Republic Army. As the Republic troops arrived at Teth in their Low Altitude Assault Transport/infantry gunships, the Confederate battle droid forces stationed there opened fire, forcing the gunships to land. The ensuing battle resulted in the rescue of Rotta, but came at the expense of the deaths of Ridge and all but six of Torrent Company's clone troopers.
The clone trooper nicknamed "Ridge" was one of the many clones of the Mandalorian bounty hunter Jango Fett, raised on the planet Kamino to fight for the Galactic Republic. During the Clone Wars, Ridge was part of the Grand Army of the Republic, serving under Captain CT-7567 and Jedi General Anakin Skywalker in Torrent Company, a unit of the Republic's famed 501st Legion.
In 22 BBY, Ridge and Torrent Company were deployed to rescue Jabba Desilijic Tiure's son, Rotta the Huttlet, on the planet of Teth, in order to gain access to hyperspace routes in Hutt Space controlled by Jabba for the Grand Army of the Republic. Along with CT-7567, Skywalker, and the latter's newly assigned Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, Ridge traveled in a Low Altitude Assault Transport/infantry gunship to the planet surface. During the flight, another trooper informed Ridge that his comlink had a malfunction, and Ridge quickly corrected it.
The Confederate forces on Teth kept Rotta captive within an old monastery, which sat on a half-mile high mesa. The gunships were fired upon by the Confederate droid forces as they descended, however, forcing them to land under the monastery and deploy their troops to climb up the cliff face of the mesa. In the ensuing battle, Ridge was killed. Although Skywalker was ultimately able to retrieve and return Rotta to his father, all but six of Torrent Company's clone troopers died at Teth.
