Warning: This infobox has missing parameters: coord, xyz, type and unrecognized parameters: class Ringo Vinda space station[5] was a ring-shaped[1] civilian graving dock[4] that encircled the planet Ringo Vinda.[1] Controlled by the Galactic Republic, it was captured by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars.[1] This resulted in the Battle of Ringo Vinda,[6] a failed[3] Republic[1] campaign[7] launched in the year 19 BBY[8] in a bid to retake the station from the Separatist.[1] After the war, it was converted into a construction facility by the Galactic Empire to churn out Imperial-class Star Destroyers for the Imperial Navy,[4] and rebel agents reported to General Airen Cracken about the industrial status of the station.[9] The station had a command center and a communications center during the Clone Wars.[3]

Ringo Vinda space station first appeared in "The Unknown,"[3] the first episode of the canon animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars' sixth and final season,[10] which originally aired in Germany on February 15, 2014.[11][12] It was first identified in the accompanying Episode Guide on StarWars.com.[5]
