- "I go now to Patagonia, to the palace of the former pirate Roberts, and I will not be coming forth again."
- ―Luuke Skywalker
Roberts was an individual who became a pirate but eventually gave up the occupation. Roberts resided in a palace on the planet Patagonia at some point, which was where the clone of the Jedi Master Luke Skywalker, Luuke Skywalker, retired to after being replaced with a new clone, Luuuke Skywalker.[1]
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
Roberts was mentioned in "An Apology", a non-canon short story by Timothy Zahn that was released on April 1, 2012 as an April Fool's Day joke.[1] Roberts' name is shared with the Dread Pirate Roberts, a pirate character in the story The Princess Bride, who also retired to the region of Patagonia.[2]
