Robumas were herbivorous mammals native to the moon Toshara where they roamed the savannas. Herd animals by instinct, they were domesticated by the first arrivals to the moon and became essential to Tosharan culture, with the creatures' milk, leather, and meat all commonly used in a variety of ways. The majority of robuma farmers kept their herds released across grazing territories and used speeders and droids to move them from place to place.[1]
