―Lando Calrissian and Lobot, on Ben Solo[src]

The Rossmoyne Vitiator pistol was a model of bolt-thrower blaster pistol from an elegant age of craftsmanship. Lando Calrissian armed himself with a Rossmoyne after the liberation of Bespin in the New Republic Era.

History

Rossmoyne pistols were created during an elegant age of the galaxy when art and craftsmanship was put into such designs. The original family responsible for their creation had artisans who hand-engraved scrollwork on each Vitiator that came off the production line. This work included whorls and curves on the grip.[1]

Lando Calrissian won a Rossmoyne Vitiator from a spice-drunk Aybarian diplomat in a game of Six-Card Gizka Limit, appreciating its beauty and craftsmanship. He used it soon after the liberation of Bespin, shooting down an Imperial lieutenant who refused to surrender. Afterwards, he considered giving the weapon to Han Solo and Leia Organa as a gift for their son, Ben, though Lobot attempted to talk him out of it. Lando had the blaster secured in a locker on Cloud City, with a note intended to help Ben when he was older.[1]
